UPDATE: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9 2020

After considerable uncertainty about the 2020 NFL season throughout the summer, the season started on time and made it through Week 9 without any league-wide suspension of play.

On November 8, 2020, the Week 9 Sunday slate featured eight games with a 1pm ET start time. The last of those games to finish (Chiefs vs. Panthers, according to Pro Football Reference) represented the halfway point of the 2020 regular season — the 128th game played of an initially scheduled 256 regular season games.

As a result, the 2020 Football Guarantee described in this post no longer applies to our premium subscription packages or subscriber renewals. Furthermore, no credit or refund policy applies to the remainder of the NFL or college football season.

We will continue to provide our NFL-related premium products to subscribers through the end of the 2020 season, whenever that may be, and even if a temporary suspension of play still occurs. However, from here on out, credits or refunds will not be extended to subscribers if the NFL season is interrupted or shortened.

We appreciate all of our premium subscribers this football season for having the confidence to stick with TeamRankings. Our business took a hit in 2020 on account of the pandemic’s impact on sports, but thanks to your support, we’ve been able to keep working on improving the site and our premium products.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the NFL will finish the 2020 season without any major issues, and hopefully, the pandemic-driven uncertainty we all had to deal with this year will be a distant memory by the time next football season rolls around.

We want all of our premium subscribers to feel confident about their investment in TeamRankings, and we think it is important to have a clearly stated policy regarding potential future disruptions to football season.

As a result, we have introduced our 2020 Football Guarantee.

What is The 2020 Football Guarantee?

The 2020 Football Guarantee protects your premium package purchase in the event that the NFL does not play at least half of a typical regular season by June 1, 2021.

“Half of a typical regular season” is defined as the NFL playing a total of at least 128 regular season games, compared to a typical 256-game regular season.

If the NFL concludes its 2020-21 season without achieving this milestone, we will extend an account credit offer or a free service offer to subscribers that purchased certain premium packages between August 1, 2020 and September 30, 2020.

What Type Of Offer Will I Receive?

The exact account credit offer or free service offer extended will depend on the premium package purchased.

We will extend credit offers and free service offers on or before June 15, 2021.We will notify subscribers of extended offers via email and via their Account page on TeamRankings.com.Subscribers will have three (3) months to claim a credit offer or free service offer once it is extended.Account credit claimed will apply to any future TeamRankings.com purchases or subscription renewal charges.Unused account credit from this offer will expire two (2) years after it is claimed.
